Modelling, economics, and communication of HFI problems. Examples of HFI are drawn from energy, healthcare, military, transportation, and software systems. Application of HFI theory and methods to a capstone or other design project, including HFI problem specification, concept generation, and design solution selection through an iterative and open-ended design process.
