CIV333H1: Simulation Modelling: Principles and Applications
0.50
36.6L/12.2P
Focuses on the theory, methods, and applications of simulation modelling, both “classical” and agent-based microsimulation, as essential tools for the analysis, modelling and design of dynamic transportation systems. Students explore the fundamental statistical principles of simulation theory, computational simulation methods and software, and a range of important transportation simulation applications, including simulating pedestrian flows, roadway traffic microsimulation and agent-based modelling of activity and travel behaviour.
